Whilst the books are no longer in print you can obtain a copy if you visit second-hand bookshops, contact private booksellers or use the many online market places such as Amazon or Ebay. One of the aims of the Society is to get the books re-published for the benefit of the younger generation so they too can have the opportunity of reading the Minack Chronicles
In 2011 the Gull on the Roof celebrates it's 50th anniversary and the Society is currently working towards having this particular book re-pulished, at our own expense, in order that by selling the book we can show the publishers that there is a market for them and so get them re-printed.
You can help the Society in two ways, firstly, by writing to the publishers to tell them that you want to read the books and asking them to republish them.
Secondly, you can help by donating towards the
estimated £10,000 costs of re-printing A Gull on the Roof.
Meanwhile, to purchase a book you can contact the sellers listed below.
As this is not a commercial site 'bookshops' etc are not listed.
Those listed will be FOMS members who are able to source and sell books for the benefit of readers and to meet the aims of the Society to advance the education of the public about the Minack Chronicles.
