It's been drizzling steadily for most of the day in PZ although reasonably warm. To think last Sunday we were walking in Oliver Land in the warmth and sunshine ~ we were just soooooo lucky.

I checked the Theatre webcam this morning, Jane and saw that it was wet and thanked my lucky stars that we had such a beautiful day for the walk last weekend. We have a lovely Spring day up here although the wind is quite cool out of the sun. It's a case of making the most of it though, because our local BBC forecast is for heavy snow on Wednesday ~ I did my Victor Meldrew impersonation of "I don't believe it" when I read that! I had been about to scrub off all the Minack mud from my hiking boots and put them away until next winter, now I think I may leave them accessible for another few days.

It is a bit ridiculous to think that it would dare snow again! The mornings and the evenings are definitely getting cooler here - starting to put on something with sleeves now at those times.
Kath, I love your Meldrew impression. Natalie and I had a favourite saying of his - "Just when you think things aren't going to get any better, they suddenly get much worse."- now there's a born optimist-not.

Very wet down here yet again ~ getting fed up with it now. We were lucky with the dogs on Long Rock beach at 8am and just as well we went then. Where's all that lovely sunshine gone that we had in that spell leading up to Memorial Weekend?

We've also had a very depressing day weather wise Jane and it looks like the whole week will be very unsettled. That brief glimpse of spring on the equinox certainly doesn't seem set to return in the near future.
I'm getting worried about the garden for the next week as they are forecasting frost - a trip to the garden centre tomorrow for more fleece is in the offing as I have some tender blossom emerging on my plum trees.

Got back from Devon today and we were lucky to have a bit of fine weather. It wasnt as rainy as forecast so that is a bonus! Hope that there isnt too much frost as I noticed getting home today that the sunnier weather (however temporary) has put some life back into some of the plants. Rupert and I will be putting together the new potting bench tomorrow and staining it. We will probably be doing that in the shed! We will at some point over the next week or so like to get some garden jobs underway so hopefully there will be a few fine days!

Glad to hear you were able to enjoy a bit of fine weather during your Devon break, Adrian.
We had real summer weather here last week - bright and sunny, and the temperature went up to as much as 24 degr. C!
Just 7 degr. this morning and rather unsettled weather, even snow forecast in the higher reaches for later in the week!
