Didnt want to hijack another thread so I thought I would start a new one! Just wanted to say bye bye for a little while as we will be heading to Cornwall straight from school tomorrow afternoon. Rachel will pick me up with the car ready packed. So wont be posting for a few days. Not sure of our plans when we are there yet. I think we will do a bit of exploring local to the cottage on Saturday (Cape Cornwall and Botallack etc) and then perhaps St Ives on Saturday afternoon. We will of course visit Lamorna and Oliverland at some point. We are also planning to go to Falmouth and the Lighthouse exhibition at the Maritime Museum. Trengwainton opens this weekend so we might possibly go for a little walk there and I like their tearoom! I am ready for some sea air and beautiful scenery so we are really looking forward to it. Hoping that although it is a short break we will have the opportunity to relax.
The weather here today is lovely and suny but cold. If it stays like that whilst we are in Cornwall that will be great.
Might get chance to pop back onto the forum later. The night before a trip away is usually bedlam with packing etc and its mostly me panicking! If I dont get chance take care all and I will probably speak again on Wednesday.:yo:

Hope you have a wonderful time, Adrian and come back nice and relaxed, and stress free. Let Cornwall work its magic on you. Look forward to hearing all about it and seeing your pics when you get home.

Have a Great Time Adrian, Rachel and Rupert......give a big Hug to Cornwall and say FOMS'ers will be there soon. You'll have a good time whatever but I do hope the weather will be kind to you.

Have a good journey and a great holiday, Adrian, all three of you.
Hope the weather will stay good for you and you won't have any of the snow and minus temperatures that we are still having over here, but then, Cornwall is usually favoured as far as the weather is concerned.
Would be great to see some photos when you return.

We're planning to have a walk at Trengwainton on sunday morning, we usually go about 10.30am when they open so perhaps we may bump into each other. If we coincide we wont be able to miss each other as you'll have Rupert and we'll have 2 Rough Collies! Have a great time whatever you do.

Thanks all. I have done my packing but have the usual 'I am sure I have forgotten something feeling!' Will certainly have some pictures and I must learn how to load them up on to here. Jane we will keep an eye out for you if we end up in Trengwainton on Sunday. I remember there were some quite impressive clumps of snowdrops there when we went in February.
We have had a discussion tonight about not arriving at the cottage between 7-7.15pm tomorrow and so missing The Archers. Tomorrow is the long anticipated sad episode when Phil Archer dies. I think it will be a sad one! I doubt whether we will be there before 8pm anyway and Pendeen is a bit further on than our normal destination.
Speak soon.

Adrian, Rachel and Rupert will be travelling by now and I too wish them a lovely holiday. I'm sure I won't be the only one to miss Adrian's postings though. And it was so comforting to read that some one else gets into a pre-holiday panic and feels sure they've forgotten something - as Kath knows, that's me every time I go away!!!
