Here in Melbourne it's currently a balmy 24 degrees with clear blue skies & a good sea breeze blowing.

My roses are blooming and so are my scented petunias. The olive tree is fruiting...much more than the solitary olive of last year....BUT tomorrow will be hotter...34 degreesC...that means the air-con goes on and then there is rain forecast from Thursday through to Sunday. Some of it thunderstorms...methinks the New Year fireworks will be rained out :(

It's damp, cold and windy here this morning, Jen, with a fair bit of snow forecast for later in the day and tomorrow, so your 24 degrees and clear blue skies sound very appealing right now!

Great to see you back on the forum, don't go AWOL on us again please.

Oh Kath....I'd like a bit of snow....it's going to be 34 celcius tomorrow....yukky!!

I've not been around 'cos I've been reseaching & booking for our "holiday" in March-April.....and I'm peeved I can't be in England/Cornwall this March:frusty:....and I agreed to 9 days in Florida before we go to Punta Cana :loco: the idea being that we can acclimatise a bit before we get to the wedding.....and do some shopping so I have something appropriate for said wedding.

Really sorry to hijack this thread - but - I cannot access the problem page. I log onto the forum o.k. it tells me I'm logged on but every time I want to post a reply I have the message box that I am viewing as a guest and have to log on - which in general I seem to be able to do although it is a faff to have to do it each time I want to reply. But with the problem page, which is the one I need to see most, it will not at any point log me on so that I can read it let alone post on it. Just keeps telling me I am viewing as a guest and am not allowed unless I re-log on,,,,,,,,but it won't let me just keeps giving me another log on box.......

Sorry once more for posting here - just can't do it anywhere else.

Pouring with rain here and cold and miserable. Though I hate it, I prefer it to last week's dangerous roads situation.
