Did anyone else see the first programme in this new series last night? What simply stunning camerawork and photography, I was mesmerised throughout the programme. Absolutely loved the nutcracking capuchin monkeys, and the courting birds walking side by side on the water! Was not quite so keen on seeing that poor little penguin flayed alive by the elephant seal! I know it's nature and all species have to eat to survive but that was a bit brutal for my liking.

If you didn't catch it, try to see it on BBCi player, it's worth it.

I watched it too, Kath, albeit looking away at the more gruesome bits. Truly wonderful.

P.S. Just enjoyed your photos, Kath. Thanks.

I missed that Kath - all the excitement of Phoebe's return! I find BBCi player to be very blurred so I don't often use it - maybe its my computer, does anyone else have the same problem?

I've only used it once Liz when I missed Lark Rise to Candleford and it was fine then.

Of course you had better things to do than see what was on TV with cuddling Phoebe, so glad she's home.

Yes Kath we watched it and loved all the bits you did too. The monkeys and the Grebes were fantastic. Not keen on the close up of the insects though, like the fly being trapped by the plant. Nor the penguins being eaten, nor th ostrich being brought down however clever the cheetahs were in doing it in a threesome.

I do use BBCi player from time to time and it seems OK to me, Liz, but then I'm no expert, I just get thrilled when I achieve something I try to do!!!
