Just seen the weather forecast for the Southwest, OOOoooo not at all nice. Best stay indoors or find a nice sunny island off the Scottish coast to shelter in ;)

Hope you're enjoying your sunny island then Jeff! Yes, it's been pelting down all day here in Penzance and in St Just where I've just come back from meeting up with Linda's friend Nancy. Luckily her 2 donkeys were very sensibly sheltering in their roomy stable so we able to chat and groom whilst the rain came down outside. We then moved to a very comfortable cafe for coffee and cake and continued to chat on lots of different subjects but of course Derek, Jeannie and Dorminack came in often. We left saying we'd both love to repeat it hopefully in the sunshine next time.
Hope you've completed all those jobs Linda set out for you!

They said on the news some places could get 4" of rain in an hour or two.
Hope everyone in it's path has the hatches battened down there.

When I checked the theatre webcam early this morning it was very wet. Been ok here for most of the day but raining steadily now and tomorrow looks pretty grim too - typical since I am out and about most of the day tomorrow.
Jane, which cafe did you and Nancy go to in St Just? When Janet and I met Patricia there last October we had coffee in a lovely little place that was also a bookshop, just off the main square. I think they had a couple of the Chronicles there too.
Linda, I love your avatar of the cat!!

The cafe was Kegs and Tegs ~ I think, or something like that! Nancy mentioned another one that was also a bookshop so we could go there next time.
I haven't been able to access the Minack webcam yesterday or today so that's interesting that you've been able to Kath. I'll try again tomorrow. Still pouring here, the flowers have had enough water now..........................:rain::rain::rain::ra in::rain::rain:

I can't access the small webcam either, it's the static cams that I have been looking at and they seem to be working ok.
Fine here so far, although very grey. I am off out in a few minutes, so no doubt the promised deluge will happen very soon now!!!
