Thank you for the lovely welcome.
I have been a fan of Derek Tangye's books for absolutely years and always promised myself a trip down there whilst he was still alive but unfortunately, time ran away with me and sadly I never met them.
I do live in South Devon and on a trip to the Donkey Sanctuary a few years ago, I did manage to have lots of cuddles with the two Tangye Donkeys. I don't know if they are still there.
Wish I had found this site before.
Lynn xx

Hello Lynn, lovely to hear from you. Sadly Merlin died a few years ago, but Susie is still alive and living at the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth.

Since you live in South Devon, are you likely to be joining us at the AGM weekend at Easter? You would be made very welcome, it is a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. I went on my own for the first time last year and made so many new friends that I can't wait to go back again this time.

Hi Lynn

Welcome to the forum!

Did you get me email?

Lovely to have you on board and hope you enjoy chatting with like minded people who all adore the Chronicles and Cornwall.

If ever you have any difficulties with the site or the forum please just let me or Jeff know we are here to help and happy to do so.

Kindest regards
Linda

Just managed to buy another three books that I do not own so nearly have the complete set. Wish I had realised about this site a while ago - everyone seems lovely.
Would love to make the AGM but I am heavily involved in the horse world too (as well as the cat world) and am on two riding club committees as well as trustee of a local horse rescue organisation.
We have a horse show over Easter that I normally help at so don't think I can make the AGM too - will see how the land lies nearer the time as I would really love to meet some like-minded friends.
Take care all in this atrocious weather.
Lynn x
