Hello. I am Julia, and live with my husband Steve, here on the Isle of Wight, along with our 3 adorable cats. 2 persians and 1 black moggie. They rule our life and are totally spoilt.

We love Cornwall, especially round the Lamorna Cove area, nr Minack.

We both work at the SEAVIEW hotel, and we think its the best on the Island.

I am 54 years of age and live in a very old converted farmhouse.

Have lived on the Island since 1976 and love it here.

I never met Derek or Jeannie, but wish I had. I love the books and started reading them from the very first one. (Library) I am seriously thinking of seeing if I can buy them all, so I will have the complete set that are all mine! Would love to read them all again.

Steve and I love Cornwall and do lots of walking along the cliffs, and by the cottage. Its such a special place. Very peaceful and beautiful.

Hello Julia

Welcome to the forum. Whereabouts on the Isle of Wight do you live? My husband and I had a holiday in Ryde a couple of years ago, our first visit to the island. Quite enjoyed it, but it was much more hilly than I expected. I liked the area around Sandown the best I think.

Look forward to getting to know you better and hearing all your views about Derek and Jeannie and all things Minack.
